Team Bio:

We are a new team that is based out of Hartford City,IN. We’re are proud to be part of the Midwest Football League and also the Hartford City Pee Wee Board, as well as promoting the D.A.R.E Program. We have players that come from several different counties, hence the name East Central Wolverines. We are a dedicated group of individuals that play for the love of the game. We have a strict code of conduct guidelines we expect our players and staff to go by. We believe this should be a family sport, something for the kids to look forward to watching on the weekends. We plan on involving the kids in halftime games and things like that. We as a team will strive to be good role models for the younger crowd as well as maintaining our dedication to the community. This team was started by putting together a dream or thought. I had approached and talked to several friends that I’ve played with and against on the football field about what I wanted to do with putting my own team together. We had our first official practice in October of 2007 and have been growing since. Blackford County maybe the smallest county in Indiana, but we have alot of support from our community. It was great to see so many people want to help. Dennis Whitesell (Hartford City Mayor) told us that he thought it would be something positive for our community.

Our Creed

We Promise That We Will Work Together As A Team
Respecting And Abiding By All Rules.
Always Striving To Win, But Above All Playing Fair.
So Win Or Lose We Will Do Our Best
In The True Spirit Of Good Sportsmanship,
For The Glory Of Football And The Honor Of Our Team.
