The Midwest Football League exists as a social club for the sole purpose of bringing together adult amateur football teams, which in turn compete against other members of this league in the game of American football.
This organization (MFL) is operated with the premise of offering its members an enjoyable atmosphere in which to operate their individual teams. Every effort is made to restrict membership to individuals that adhere to the policies of the League and are willing to work with the other member teams in a positive and constructive manner. Individual members, while working with their own team in mind, all work with the idea that every member is responsible for the overall function and success of the League.
The MFL is governed by a League Board consisting of member team General Managers. Each member is allowed two individuals in attendance at all League meetings, however the League only recognizes ONE team representative as the spokesman for each League member team. This one individual is responsible for the communication of any and all subjects, questions, and concerns that may exist between the League and his organization. The League Board is governed by a League President. This President organizes all League functions, resolves League issues, and assures the League is operated for the best of all members. The League President possesses the deciding vote in all League matters. All members of the MFL Board function with the idea that we are involved in a UNIQUE activity, are presenting ourselves to the public in a positive manner, and respect the efforts of other board members in making the MFL the strongest organization it can be.
The MFL welcomes any individual or organization that displays the ability to adhere to these simple, but very important, ideals.
The League recognizes the member team achievements by presenting the League Champion and Runner-up with trophies. And extends this recognition to every roster member of the Champion team with League Champion t-shirts.
